Bonita Long Canyon is a 650-acre master-planned community developed starting in 1985 by McMillin Development, built with an equestrian theme and an unusually large share of open space.
Four decades on, that early emphasis on trails and open space still defines the neighborhood — it reads as noticeably greener and more spread out than many newer master plans nearby.
