EastLake Greens is one of the original neighborhoods of the EastLake master plan, taking shape in the early 1990s around an 830-acre vision centered on its own golf course.
Today it's one of the most established, walkable pockets of eastern Chula Vista — mature landscaping, tree-lined streets, and a real sense of neighborhood.

- EastLake Greens broke ground around 1989–1992 as an 830-acre community built around its own golf course — one of the original chapters of the EastLake story.
- That golf course — long known as EastLake Country Club — was designed by noted architect Ted Robinson, opened in 1991, and winds past six lakes and three waterfalls. Today it operates as Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake, and it has hosted qualifying rounds for the PGA Tour's Farmers Insurance Open and the U.S. Senior Open.
- Two neighborhood parks anchor the community: Sunset View Park and Chula Vista Community Park, both popular gathering spots for weekend soccer games and picnics.
- The community is represented by its own HOA, the EastLake Greens Community Association, with several smaller associations covering specific tracts.
- Families here are zoned for Olympic View Elementary, Arroyo Vista Charter School (K–8), and EastLake High School, which first opened its doors in 1992.
